WHAT TO EXPECT

Peaceful gardens with roses, herbs, majestic trees and places to pause surround this 1908 Craftsman-style Inn just 4-1/2 blocks from the downtown plaza. Six sunny rooms with fresh flowers and laces, great books, fine amenities, private baths and air-conditioning. "Where you feel like a personal friend, not just a paying guest."

Relax...on the front porch swing, or perhaps in the quiet comfort of the living room, where a cheery fire awaits you on chilly days. A selection of music and books is at hand, as well as daily newspapers for your quiet perusal. Strong coffee, hot tea, and homemade cookies are always available.

Set away from the bustle of Main Street, the lush terraced gardens provide many places to gather with friends or just savor quiet moments alone...wander through the fragrant grape arbor or lounge on a chaise under the rose covered pergola.

A delectable full breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. in the dining room or in the garden under the spreading walnut tree on warm summer mornings. Early breakfasts upon request.

YEAR-ROUND ACTIVITIES

SATISFIED GUESTS

Françoise,

We so appreciate your warm hospitality.  We felt like friends the moment we stepped through the door.  Jasmine is as sweet as she is a gargantuan of a dog!

Thank you for our lovely breakfasts, plump towels, great mattress and the gorgeous gardens.  We have really enjoyed staying here.

Fondly,

Elise, Larry & Allie Morse, Bellevue, WA

Françoise,

The Woods House beauty inside and out, plus the Hostess, staff, and food will always be one of my precious memories.

Lois Brinkman from Arizona

Wonderful--always wonderful!  Every comfort provided.  Thank you!

Bernice and Peter Falk

Dear Françoise,

It's always with mixed feelings that we must leave your welcoming
abode. Your food nourishes our bodies, the breakfast chatter - our minds, the peaceful gardens - our souls. All because you have created this lovely haven for travelers/visitors.

But we will return next year--ready to be injected and refreshed.
Thanks for everything.

Judy & Jim Ware, Boise, ID

Dear Françoise,

Thank you once again for a lovely stay in Ashland. It was good to
see both you and Jasmine and to see that you are doing well. We do much appreciate your warm welcome and The Woods House hospitality.

See you next year!

Love, Jean and Mac
